KaratsnMor was born from a deep love for creativity and craftsmanship. I am Adetoun Alashi, a metalsmith and the founder of KaratsnMor, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
My journey into jewelry making began years ago when I became fascinated with the idea of recreating a pair of earrings that meant a lot to me. That curiosity led me into the world of metalsmithing, where I discovered the joy of transforming simple sheets of metal into meaningful, wearable pieces.
Over the years, I have developed a strong focus on creating simple, elegant jewelry pieces such as name necklaces, cufflinks, and everyday accessories. These pieces may look minimal, but they require solid foundational metalsmithing skills — the same skills this training is designed to teach.
Through the KaratsnMor Basic Metalsmith Training, my goal is to help aspiring creators learn these essential techniques so they can confidently begin their own journey in jewelry making.
This training focuses on practical, foundational skills — the same skills used to create many of the signature pieces produced at KaratsnMor.
